Posada Arigalan – a quiet Guesthouse and Retreat Center

Arigalan is a Zapotec word.

ARI means Water and GALAN means Beautiful.

Arigalan, where the simplicity of nature meets the comfort of modern amenities. Our name, rooted in the Zapotec language, means 'beautiful water' — a fitting description for our adults-only retreat center and guesthouse nestled along the stunning Oaxacan Pacific Coast.

At Arigalan, you'll find spaces designed for quiet reflection and relaxation. Our 'noble silence' area offers a peaceful escape, while the yoga hall, with its impressive ocean view, invites you to unwind and rejuvenate.

We offer private beach access, where the ocean's rhythm provides a natural soundtrack for relaxation. For a broader perspective, our 'miradors' offer breathtaking views of the coastline, perfect for soaking in the sunrise or sunset.

Our accommodations prioritize comfort and scenic views, with most rooms boasting ocean vistas and terraces. The community kitchen is a place to connect and create, while the yoga hall, ice bath, and dark rooms add unique elements to your stay.

We're committed to sustainability, providing free filtered drinking water to all guests. At Arigalan, we blend the beauty of our surroundings with thoughtful amenities, offering you a tranquil getaway to refresh and reset.
